Kami no Kisu is a continuation of the Japanese philosophy that began in the 12th century thanks to the monk Eisai, who had studied the latest Buddhist practices in China during the Song Dynasty. He was the one who brought tea saplings and seeds to Japan, as well as the new Buddhist current: the Zen school.
