About Eclair

From a passion for beauty, out of respect for people

Founded in 2014 by Iulian and Ana-Maria Costișanu, Eclair is the first concept store dedicated to conscious home living and lifestyle in the Republic of Moldova. Located in a historical building in the center of Chișinău, our store has become a landmark for those who love beauty, quality, and the idea of living with intention.

At Eclair, we believe in a way of life that values time spent with loved ones, authentic rituals, and sustainable choices. We don't follow fleeting trends, but instead select products that inspire, last, and create atmosphere: from tableware and cooking utensils to fine teas, special decorations, or To-Go accessories. Each item is carefully chosen, out of respect for the customer and care for the planet.

A store with a story

Our space is not just a store – it's an entire world. Every corner has been designed to create an experience: over the years, we have frequently redecorated to ensure the atmosphere always remains fresh, welcoming, and inspiring. The building itself is an architectural monument, entirely renovated with care and respect for Chișinău's heritage.

We choose consciously. We live responsibly.

We are exclusive distributors for top international brands such as ASA Selection, Pip Studio, KitchenAid, Jamie Oliver, Mikasa, MasterClass, S'Well, La Cafetiere and others. We collaborate directly with manufacturers – without intermediaries – and build lasting relationships with each partner.

In 2022, we also launched Kami No Kisu, our own premium tea brand, born from the desire to carry forward rituals of tranquility, taste, and togetherness.

We believe in products that last, in the beauty of simple things, and in gestures that matter.

Honesty, commitment, and transparency

From the beginning, we chose to be a 100% legal and ethical business. We declare all revenues and pay all taxes. Approximately 1/3 of the price of each product represents state taxes and duties – assumed and paid in full. This is our contribution to a healthy economy and a better future.

We are also environmentally responsible: we only use paper packaging, plastic products are BPA-free and reusable, and all recyclable materials are collected separately.

A lifestyle that inspires – and within the pages of a book

In 2024, Ana-Maria Costișanu launched Autenchique, a recipe book that sincerely captures this very lifestyle – natural, warm, full of flavor and everyday beauty. The book is a natural extension of Eclair's philosophy and the community that has formed around the idea of slowing down, feeling, and living with purpose.
