Description

Ya Bao Silver Buds is a distinguished wild white tea, with velvety spring buds, an exceptional variety of white tea from the Yunnan province of China, harvested in February-March and unparalleled. Depending on climatic conditions, the color range of the flowers changes between creamy white and moss green. Some also call it White Pu-Erh because it is produced from the same leaves and can be subjected to a longer maturation process through storage, by which it can achieve additional flavor grades.

This virgin tea is hand-picked from Camellia Sinesis and Dehungesis shrubs, which grow only in the wild, on the mountain. The pale yellow, velvety shoots are hand-picked in early spring, with great care and delicacy to prevent damage and oxidation. Subsequently, the buds wilt slightly and dry naturally. The soft and delicate aroma of the golden-white tea is reminiscent of ripe white gooseberries, with a final bouquet of white spring flowers, and the taste has notes of tart freshness and subtle woody undertones.
