For 6 years, we have been importing coffee makers, and the first coffee of the morning is obligatory made in a French press. Coffee has many secrets, but how to make it perfect, we'll tell you the best preparation method.
The first design of the coffee maker was patented by Frenchmen Mayer and Delfogre in 1852. It didn't have the bottom filter, but the shape of the carafe that we enjoy to this day is thanks to them.

The first patent for the coffee maker we use today was obtained by Attilio Calimani and Giulio Moneta in 1929; they added the bottom filter that presses the beverage.
Currently, this patent is owned by only two companies in the world, one of which is La Cafetiere.
Coffee drinkers praise this brewing method for its superior taste and quality; moreover, in a press, you get the full taste of coffee, as nature intended.
It is also more environmentally friendly. You don't have to process your coffee through filters that remove good oils from the coffee, and at the same time, you don't consume impurities that are retained in coffee draining machines; plus, it is 100% ecological as the coffee can later be used as fertilizer for flowers.
Preparation Method
Proportion is essential:
*1g of coffee for 15g of water
For a large coffee maker, the proportion would be 32g coffee for 480g water.
- It would be perfect to have fresh coffee beans and grind them manually before preparing the drink; then, you will savor the full taste of the coffee.
- The better the water, the better the coffee will be; use the best water you have at hand.
- Never use boiling water; it will destroy the coffee and give it a bad taste; use hot water of approximately 96C.
- Pour a little hot water into the coffee maker to heat it, just like with tea, and then add the coffee to gradually release the aromas, leave it for 2 minutes.
- Add the rest of the water, stir again after another 2 minutes to incorporate all the coffee into the water, and leave for another 2 minutes.
- After this, press the plunger, and the coffee is ready to serve.
Enjoy and write in the comments if you have tried this method.
