One of the big novelties this autumn is the premiere arrival of WoodWick candles at Eclair! Below, we offer a short introduction to their use and explain their charm, if you haven't yet become acquainted with them.
Lighting a candle is not rocket science. But WoodWick is not just any candle. They are unique, made from high-quality wax, shaped glass, and with a natural wooden wick.
WoodWick candles are magical, and their burning also holds a little spell. If you cast it correctly, you will get what you desire - an unparalleled atmosphere, full of harmonious aromas, accompanied by the sound of wood crackling in a fireplace.
Before lighting a WoodWick candle, remember that the wooden wick is a bit different from ordinary cotton. With a wooden one, it's enough to light one end; the flame spreads, and the wick starts to crackle.
Let the candle burn until the wax melts to all sides of the glass container. This takes about 30 minutes to an hour, always depending on the size and shape of the glass. The wax will not remain on the edges, and the so-called tunneling will not form.

The flame height may vary, but you shouldn't worry - even a small flame burns. If the candle starts to smoke, or the flame becomes larger than 4 cm, we recommend extinguishing the candle, letting it cool, and trimming the wick to between 0.3 and 0.6 mm.

Do not move the candle until it has burned out, as the wax is hot and the wick can easily "drown" in it. Do not expose it to drafts; do not leave the window open, or a fan or air conditioner running. The ideal burning location is a flat, heat-resistant surface, and a decorative wooden lid can be used as a base.
After the candle goes out, the wax becomes rigid again and waits for you until you want the aroma again. However, when you reach the last centimeter of wax, do not burn the candle anymore. For your safety, WoodWick candles are designed to extinguish as soon as the wax approaches the bottom.
Now, all you have to do is choose the right scent and enjoy these small tips that will help you burn the candles correctly, so you can enjoy these WoodWick candles that will enchant both you and your guests.
