Description

This teapot from the Coppa Kuro collection by ASA Selection is made of black porcelain with a matt finish, holds 600 ml and comes with a wooden handle and a stainless steel filter. The special hand-applied glaze makes every teapot unique and gives it its own charm; “Kuro” means black in Japanese. Because of the matt surface, signs of use may appear with everyday use. The teapot measures 14.5 x 10.7 cm, is 12 cm high and matches the other Coppa Kuro pieces.

Kuro is the black, matte series from the Coppa collection, with a special glaze applied by hand that makes every piece unique. The matte surface may in time show silvery marks from cutlery, a natural process because the soft metal rubs against the hard, rough glaze. You will find plates, Buddha bowls, cups, teapots with a wooden handle and tiered stands, all with a dramatic, elegant look.
