The KitchenAid Gourmet bread knife has a 20 cm serrated blade forged from Japanese 420J2 steel, hardened and tempered to slice easily through crusty bread, brioche and pastries.
The sharp serrations cut through a crisp crust without crushing the crumb, and the knife can also be used to carve roasts. The eastern-style ergonomic handle with triple rivets and a textured finish is well balanced and gives a secure grip, while the stainless steel endcap adds strength. The knife comes with a custom-fit blade cover for safe storage in a drawer.
