Celery root is unfairly rare at festive meals, even though it's a fantastic ingredient from all points of view.
I love combining it with the spicy flavor of blue cheese and something sweet, sweet-and-sour jams for example, or dried fruits.
Ingredients:
- half a celery root
- olive oil
- 100 g dates (medjool are my favorite)
- 75 g blue cheese
Preparation method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180 and slice the celery root into rounds, drizzle with oil and bake for 30 minutes.
2. Separate the dates from the pits to obtain 2 halves.
3. Assemble the appetizer and serve immediately.
